Another weekend .. weekends are my worst, I have a difficult time staying on track and this weekend was no different. Lots of time spent at the beach and at various family gatherings, negatively affected my food choices. Its the one big thing I need to overcome for Curves Complete to be more successful for me!
So, I'm starting another week and am trying to re-focus and get back on track - that's all you can do when you fall off the horse, pick yourself up, dust off and climb back up there!

Introducing: Judy Edgar
My name is Judy Edgar and I own and manage Curves Bancroft. It's hard to believe that I joined Curves as a member six
years ago and weighed 258 pounds and my body fat was off the chart. I'm
now 61 years old and Curves has saved my life. I have lost 32 pounds
and about 30 inches and feel 10 years younger than I did when I joined.
In fact, today I had great news when I went to the doctor and he took me
off my blood pressure medication.
I love helping other women overcome their obstacles and watch them transform not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
I am now on Curves Complete for the second time and I find I'm doing really well during the day, but evenings are a struggle. Curves Complete videos have helped me to understand that I need to acknowledge that I can't control these cravings and that I can turn it over to a power greater than myself. I know I'm a compulsive overeater and Curves Complete helps me to realize that if I overeat it is not the end of the world and I can start over again immediately, which I do.
My goal is to lose 27 pounds by the end of 2012 so I can be under 200. I know I can do it with the help I get at Curves!

Amanda: Week 2; Phase 2
Well, I "fell off the wagon" big-time over the weekend. I had fun but was it really worth it? I'm still down 2 lbs and I am trying not to focus on the fact that it could be more, had I tried harder.
Monday was rough, its always hard to get back on track after getting off track as well as life has been overly busy. I am solidly back on track now though and am looking forward to & focusing on better results for next week :)

Julie: Week 2, Phase 2
Week 1 was a success! I am down to 155.4 already!
I'm totally happy with my results, considering that the weekend was a hard one. I volunteered at my communities strawberry supper and indulged in too many carbs (pasta salad is a great weakness of mine) and strawberry shortcake! But I forgive myself for getting off track and now I am back to it and going strong.
Bring on week 2!

Introducing: Amanda Stone
Hey all! I'm Amanda, I'm 25 and the Assistant Manager here at Curves Bancroft. My life has been changed by Curves and I love sharing what it has to offer with everyone around me! I'm just re-starting Curves Complete and am doing well at Day 4 (of 90) and looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone! My goal is to lose 15-20 lbs in the next 90 days & lose some inches off my thighs and abdomen! But, first, a little of my Curves history ... :)
In 2007, I joined Curves for the first time - I was getting married in September 2008 and I had some weight to lose! I went to my first workout and thought I can do this! - then I didn't come back for 2 months. After a little one-on-one chat with myself, I decided that I needed to stop wasting my money and get serious about it! Turns out, I loved it - and I was 40 lbs lighter in time for my wedding! After the wedding, I got it into my head that I didn't really need Curves anymore; I had already lost the weight so why would I possibly need to keep coming? I'm not a quitter, but I quit Curves & that's where I went wrong. Over the next while, between renovating and life, in general; I gained back everything I'd lost and more! I was now up to 222 lbs - and I couldn't even blame it on the fact that I had just had a baby since I'd really only gained 15 lbs during the course of my pregnancy. I started thinking about Curves again & 6 weeks after I had my second baby, I was back in the door at Curves and signing up, ready to do it all over again.
That was a little over a year ago, and now here I am - 65 lbs lighter and 59 inches smaller and it feels FANTASTIC! I love working at Curves, I love the ladies that I meet at Curves, I love the workout at Curves - I just plain love Curves and well, its goes without saying, I'm a "for-lifer" now! :)

Hey Everyone!
I'm Julie, here's a bit about me...I am a Curves Circuit Coach and a Library Assistant. I am 31 years old and enjoy reading, crafts and being outdoors. I have decided to follow the Curves Complete program for the next 90 days and this blog will keep you updated on my journey.
I joined Curves 3 years ago and it has been wonderful. I have lost pounds, inches and body fat. I've increased my energy level, my confidence and I have met some of the most wonderful women that I could have ever hoped to meet! I have done very well so far, but I cant's seem to lose those last 10 pounds, to reach my goal. Curves Complete will help me reach my goal!!!
My current weight is 159.4. I will be weighing in each week and measured to check my inches and body fat% every other week. I will post the results here to keep you updated and to keep me on track!
