Introducing: Amanda Stone

Hey all! I'm Amanda, I'm 25 and the Assistant Manager here at Curves Bancroft. My life has been changed by Curves and I love sharing what it has to offer with everyone around me! I'm just re-starting Curves Complete and am doing well at Day 4 (of 90) and looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone! My goal is to lose 15-20 lbs in the next 90 days & lose some inches off my thighs and abdomen! But, first, a little of my Curves history ... :)

In 2007, I joined Curves for the first time - I was getting married in September 2008 and I had some weight to lose! I went to my first workout and thought I can do this! - then I didn't come back for 2 months. After a little one-on-one chat with myself, I decided that I needed to stop wasting my money and get serious about it! Turns out, I loved it - and I was 40 lbs lighter in time for my wedding! After the wedding, I got it into my head that I didn't really need Curves anymore; I had already lost the weight so why would I possibly need to keep coming? I'm not a quitter, but I quit Curves & that's where I went wrong. Over the next while, between renovating and life, in general; I gained back everything I'd lost and more! I was now up to 222 lbs - and I couldn't even blame it on the fact that I had just had a baby since I'd really only gained 15 lbs during the course of my pregnancy. I started thinking about Curves again & 6 weeks after I had my second baby, I was back in the door at Curves and signing up, ready to do it all over again.

That was a little over a year ago, and now here I am - 65 lbs lighter and 59 inches smaller and it feels FANTASTIC! I love working at Curves, I love the ladies that I meet at Curves, I love the workout at Curves - I just plain love Curves and well, its goes without saying, I'm a "for-lifer" now! :)
